Steve Horstman
Owner
and designer, Steve Horstman has over 20 years in the design field. He has worked
throughout the state of Ohio as well as in Kentucky. He began his career
in floral design and party planning, then moved into design with such institutions
as Western Kentucky University and Trans-Financial Bank while working at
Lyndells’s Special Occasions and Interiors. He has worked for the
Garvin Family, owners of Campers World. After seeing a need for a design
store business in the Lima, Ohio area, he relocated back to Ohio.
He has planned and participated in many fund-raisers such as the Delphos Home Tour, and won awards in 1996 and 1997 for civic duties. He also was a two-time winner of the Findlay Home Tour “Peoples Choice Award”.
Steve’s design philosophy is based on classic design with a foot in the future, he enjoys customer relationships of over ten years. He starts with a plan including your current design and incorporates the new look with your family treasures.

Amanda Morman
Rounding out the design team at Ironwood Designs is Amanda Morman. A graduate
of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior
Design and Architecture, Amanda first came to Ironwood Designs to fulfill
her third-year internship requirement for BGSU. Proving to be a great “fit” for
the vision and mission of Ironwood Designs, Amanda was offered and accepted
the opportunity to work part-time as a Design Assistant until her graduation.
She is now a full-time employee and Design Partner with Steve.
Amanda brings a variety of talents to Ironwood Designs. Committed and confident in her work, she enjoys working on projects of all kinds. First-time clients and returning customers will find her equally dedicated to the task at hand and dedicated to forging positive and ongoing professional relationships.
Amanda appreciates a variety of decorating styles, including contemporary and transitional designs. In addition, she loves to incorporate traditional and old world touches into a design plan. Nothing excites her more than working with clients to create a personalized plan that will reflect their budget, their lifestyle, and their personalities.
